Description

Hamburg is calling and The Bus is ready to go!

With this add-on Hamburg City, you'll experience the Hanseatic city from the perspective of a bus driver. Two varied lines take you through leafy residential neighborhoods, lively city streets, and past world-famous landmarks – right into the heart of one of Germany’s most beautiful cities.

Two lines, two personalities – a true Hamburg experience.

Line 6 takes you from the green U-Bahn station at Borgweg, across the city center and into the impressive Speicherstadt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of historical charm.

Line 17 begins at the bustling Feldstraße station, passes through Winterhude and ends at Barmbek station. For part of the journey, it runs alongside Line 6 – two paths that intersect, each with its own story to tell.

City life, waterways, and history – each line shows a different side of Hamburg.

Line 6 starts quietly at Borgweg station near the city park, winds through elegant Winterhude and continues to Hamburg’s main train station. From Speersort, it moves into the Speicherstadt, ending near the famous Miniatur Wunderland, and takes a slightly different route on the way back.

In contrast, Line 17 explores the city’s urban face. It begins at the transit hub in Barmbek, runs through Winterhude, and heads into the vibrant St. Pauli district – past the Reeperbahn and Millerntor Stadium – before ending at Feldstraße station next to the striking high-rise bunker with its green rooftop.

And the best thing is: further lines are firmly planned and will gradually expand the network.
First, line 7 will continue the network northwards.

Hamburg’s skyline – closer than ever.

More than 200 highly detailed 3D models have been specially created for this add-on, including historic warehouses, modern office blocks, bridges, and train stations. Even in the distance, you’ll recognize iconic landmarks like the TV tower, the Spiegel building, the Elbphilharmonie and more.

An add-on that captures the spirit of Hamburg.

Alongside the new assets, over 300 additional buildings from The Bus’s expanded building tool have been included, all adapted with typical Hamburg-style features. Facades, windows, doors – everything feels familiar.

Special moments await you everywhere: underground trains cross your path, suburban trains pass through Barmbek, long-distance trains rush through the main station, and barges invite you to take a trip along the canals. At street level, look out for red trash bins with witty local slogans and the city’s distinctive polygonal bike sheds.

Bridges, stops, and Hamburg precision.

More than 40 bridges connect the lines – each one faithfully reproduced.
Every bus stop has been carefully modeled after the real thing, complete with bus shelters, poles, ticket machines, and digital passenger information displays (DFIs).

For locals, for newcomers, for everyone who loves Hamburg.

Anyone familiar with lines 6 or 17 and future lines such as line 7 will find their way around immediately.
