About the Game

Oldowan is a casual survival sandbox game that is focused on very early humanity and how it developed. The crafting is all based on real practices, but the survival aspects are relaxed. Developing new tools, structures, foods, and materials will allow you to explore, progress, and thrive in an uncomfortable environment.


Beginning with turning rocks into Oldowan style tools, you'll have to craft if you want to survive.


Scour the land for resources to craft better tools that unlock more advanced technology.


Craft furnaces and workbenches to turn your resources into tools, food, shelter and more.


Build a settlement to defend yourself from neighboring tribes and aggressive wildlife.


Make friend or foe with villages across the land.
